Michael Davis
Michael Davis is the founder of Digital Audio Post in Nashville, Tennessee, one of the most respected audio post facilities in the Southeast for sound design, live concert mix to picture, ADR, and 5.1 mixing for television, film and music.
Michael began multiple careers as audio engineer and musician in
1977 while attending Auburn University.
Michael moved to Nashville in January 1987. Later that year, he began as a pianist with Vince Gill, and went on to tour with Steve Wariner, Judy Rodman, and Ricky Van Shelton. In 1989 Michael joined Dolly Parton's Mighty Fine Band and toured as keyboardist and sound designer until 1993. He has since continued to work for Dolly in a variety of capacities.
During this period he also had success as a composer of television music in a variety of venues including PBS and CBS, and worked as a video editor at Elite Post of Nashville.
